Sen. Gillibrand Releases Disclosure Forms
Washington, DC- Today, New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand announced that she has voluntarily posted the disclosure form she submitted to Governor Paterson during the Senate appointment process to her website at www.kirstengillibrand.com.
Senator Gillibrand has been a leader by example on transparency issues in government, and was the first Member of Congress in history to post her earmark requests and financial disclosure forms on-line. In addition, Gillibrand has sponsored and supported measures to increase Administration compliance with providing records to the public and media and to improve shield laws for journalists.
Senator Gillibrand's commitment to open government and transparency will continue in the Senate.
In addition to providing her disclosure form to the Governor on-line, Senator Gillibrand will make her last three years of tax returns available for review by the media on Monday, February 2nd, from 2pm – 5pm at the law offices of Perkins Coie, located at 607 Fourteenth Street N.W., Washington, DC 20005-2011.
