longtime Assemblyman Robert Nortz.
"Today, the North Country mourns the loss of Bob Nortz. My family and I are saddened by his passing and our thoughts and prayers are with Bob's family and former staff members during this difficult time. As our Assemblyman for many years, Bob embodied the North Country spirit in his own way, through a very personal approach to the issues and to his constituents. Always upbeat, his presence will be deeply missed."
State Senator Darrel Aubertine said today, "I'm saddened by the passing of Bob Nortz. He was a man of integrity with a great sense of humor and love for the Northcountry and its people. I would like to express my deepest condolences to his wife Beverly and his family. He will be missed."
