"The new license gets more hunters out into the field and allows families to hunt together." State Senator Darrel Aubertine, D-Cape Vincent, was also pleased to see the bill passed, as he had sponsored a very similar bill when he was the co-chairman of the sportsmen’s caucus in the state Assembly. “There are states out there, in my estimation, that take a much more pro-sportsmen approach to hunting than New York has in the past,” he said.
