Another day--another Caroline poll--and a totally different number--remember we predicted this swing stuff yesterday.

A USA Today/Gallup Poll released today found 45 percent of Americans would like to see Gov. David Paterson appointed Caroline Kennedy to the US Senate seat Hillary Clinton will vacate upon her confirmation as secretary of state.

Thirty-six percent said they'd prefer someone else to get the seat.
