Oak Orchard, N.Y. - The last search of the year in deep water off of Oak Orchard uncovered a hidden gem on Lake Ontario's floor.
In late fall, Jim Kennard and David Scoville stumbled upon a rare type of ship from the early 19th century. The ship, a dagger-board schooner, is the only one of its kind to be discovered in Lake Ontario. It is so rare, in fact, it took Kennard and Scoville, nearly a month to identify it. Read on..
