I have been outspoken on this issue in many forums. It will continue to haunt us for one simple reason: "We have allowed our government to make torture our national policy."
I will continue to speak out on this issue. I am a former Marine Corps interrogator (nearly 10 years while on active duty all over the world) and with DOD for nearly 2 years in Korea...
I know what I am talking about. For those so timid as not to stand up and speak out or take action is beyond comprehension.
If I were elected to office, I would be the only former Interrogator in office - food for thought on this a critically hot issue.
We still can't get it right; but we'd better (soon).
